Your outcome report
Summary: After your assessment, your clinician will prepare your outcome report and send it to you within a week. If there are any factual errors (e.g. a wrong date or name), it’s important you let us know as soon as possible so we can update this. We can’t remove sensitive information you’ve shared and can’t change our clinical findings.

FAQs
Your outcome report
After you’ve had your assessment appointment, we’ll share your clinician's findings with you in something called an “outcome report”. We aim to email this to you within a week of your assessment.
Your outcome report will tell you whether an ADHD or autism diagnosis has been reached. It'll also explain the reasoning behind the decision and your recommended next steps. For many people, this is the moment they've been waiting for – so we want to make sure you feel well-informed and supported when it arrives.
How your outcome report is prepared
We follow three steps to make sure your outcome report is thorough and clinically accurate:
Your clinician reviews your information – they carry out a clinical assessment of everything you’ve shared. They may also consult other specialists like consultant psychiatrists.
We’ll share your outcome report with you – You’ll have a chance to look through it and make sure that everything reflects your experience. If there’s a clear error, this is the point to request a change (please see below).
The outcome report is signed off and shared with you – we’ll also email a shorter summary to your GP so they can quickly refer to it when needed in the future.
How to request changes to your outcome report
When you read your outcome report, there might be something you query – perhaps a detail that doesn't look right. You can ask us to make changes to your report. But please bear in mind – we can't make changes that could affect the integrity of your diagnosis.
What we can change
Please let us know if your outcome report contains either of the following:
Factual errors
If any of your details aren’t right – like a name, date of birth, or test result – we can quickly correct these.Missing information
If there's a key piece of information that you discussed in the assessment missing that would directly affect the clinical picture, we’ll update the report to reflect this. This could include things like your medical history or previous treatments.
What we can’t change
Your diagnosis
Your diagnosis is the result of a thorough, evidence-based assessment. This means we can’t revise it based on new information provided after your assessment. If you strongly disagree with your diagnosis, please let us know. We’ll review your concerns and, where appropriate, may offer a second opinion.Clinically relevant information – including sensitive personal details
We can’t remove anything from your outcome report that meaningfully contributes to your diagnosis. This means we can’t remove references to sensitive information about things like recreational drug use or legal matters you may have shared during your assessment. The tone and phrasing
Your outcome report reflects your clinician's professional assessment of the symptoms and behaviours discussed. We can clarify points that seem unclear, but we unfortunately can't reword clinical observations to feel more positive or align with someone’s personal preference.
FAQs
Are the diagnoses you make officially recognised? Will my GP accept it?
We're registered by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and accredited by the NHS to provide NHS services. This means that any diagnosis we make is formally recognised.
What should I do if I have questions or concerns about my outcome report?
If you have any concerns or questions, please share these by replying to the email we sent you containing your outcome report. If you’re requesting amendments, please include all of these in one reply and do this within five days of receiving your report.
